Indoor flying continues on Friday evenings as long as we have sufficient interest to cover expenses. We need 11 flyers to break even. Come out and join us. Spectators are welcome...no charge. Flying remains at $10.00 for the two hours.

1/1/2008 NEW YEAR'S DAY EVENT

Indoor and outdoor flying at the Midwest Sports Complex, home of our Friday evening indoor flying.

Admission $10
Spectators are free. If you are not an electric flyer, be sure to stop by.

Sub sandwiches, chips, and soft drinks available

AMA membership is required. Airplanes are limited to 1 lb. and helicopters 450 or less. We have a separate area for helis.

If weather and runway conditions permit, gas/glow models may be flown outside. Now may be a good time to think about skis!!!

We will be flying indoors, Friday evenings, 9-11pm, at the Midwest Sport Complex. It is located just south of Cat Mossville and north of  the intersection of Galena Road (Route 29) and Old Galena Roads. Turn west off route 29 on Old Galena Rd. and the complex is a short distance (first building on the right). 

The flying area is an indoor soccer field. It looks like a hockey rink. There is netting which goes to the ceiling. It is used to keep soccer balls in the playing area. The nets are not removable. The surface is an astroturf type of material.

Airplanes are limited to 1 lb. and helis are limited to 450 size. We have a separate heli area.

Admission is $10.00. Spectators are welcome (free)
