Please join us for an afternoon (11am-5pm) of fun on New Years Day.

10/8/2008 Update

Indoor flying begins 10/10/2008. Any AMA member may fly with us. Watch for details for a New Year's Day event. Indoor flying continues on Friday evenings as long as we have sufficient interest to cover expenses. We need 11 flyers to break even. Come out and join us. Spectators are welcome...no charge. Flying remains at $10.00 for the two hours.

General Information

When: Friday evenings, 9-11pm

Where: Midwest Sport Complex. It is located just south of Caterpillar Mossville and north of the intersection of Galena Road (Route 29) and Old Galena Roads. Turn west off route 29 on Old Galena Rd. and the complex is a short distance (first building on the right). Map Click Here

The flying area is an indoor soccer field the size of a hockey rink. There is netting which goes to the ceiling. It is used to keep soccer balls in the playing area. The nets are not removable. The surface is an astroturf type of material.

Airplanes are limited to 1 lb. and helis are limited to 450 size. We have a separate heli area.

Admission is $10.00. Spectators are welcome (free).
